We lost the starboard engine somewhere between Capo and Castellammare del Golfo yet managed to drop Kim off in Zingaro reserve on the standup paddleboard for a night at a local resort.
Spent two nights in the charming town of Castellammare del Golfo. More incredible seafood, couscous and Sicilian wine. This morning motored on one engine to the Palermo harbor to get the engine repaired.
Brad’s surgery was rescheduled to Wednesday and it went brilliantly and he is doing well.
Two more nights on the boat before we head to Puglia to see Lee and Ciro with a surprise visit with Esther.
It’s hot but the breeze off the water is keeping us comfortable. Heaven.

If you’re sailing up the west coast of italy, sail by the island if Stromboli at night. You can see the lava spurting g from its top. Nice fireworks post wedding.
