Wendi and Dennis disembarked for a night at the Grand Hotel Villa Igiea on Palermo.

We took the dinghy over to meet them for drinks and dinner, walking up the ancient steps from the harbor to the hotel.

The hotel was originally designed and built as a private villa at the end of the 19th century.
